Our shipping costs explained.
We use An post (Irelands national postal services provider, to ship our small parts, spare parts, replacement parts. The costs are determined based on weight of items, and in the case of Irish customers, it is factored into the final overall cost of the item. in most cases the spare parts items will be any weight between 100g to 800g, which An Post will charge €8.50 to €13.50 dependant on weight, to ship. we will always use the tracked option, which costs more, but guarantees no problems for us when it comes to following up a missing item. as the tracking info can be used to locate any missing deliveries.
This service is especially important to us as once an item leaves our premises it is no longer in our control, but is instead at the mercy of the postal service.
We also use AN POST when sending replacement parts, small items to the UK, USA, An Europe, as again it is the cheaper and fastest option available to us.

When it comes to larger machinery like chainsaws, multitools etc, we use DPD and GLS couriers. again it is a tracked service which is almost a next day delivery service. In recent months the average cost of sending an item via both providers has risen annually by about 3%, this equates to an average cost per 20kg of about €12.50, we equate this cost into the final overall price of the products.
